The Illawarra Football Academy is running free community gala days for players, schools and club teams in five-a-side small-sided games throughout March.

The Academy is also teaming up with the three-day Shellharbour City Festival of Sport, which begins tomorrow with the gala days giving kids a great chance to enjoy pre-season games ahead of the new winter season beginning in April.

The Academy is also running special Talent Search Camps to prepare boys aged seven to 17 for the international roadshow at Guest Park on April 6-7.

The camps will put players through drills and activities to prepare them for what to expect at the roadshow.

Manchester City scout and youth academy coach John Grant, and international talent scout John Hindley will oversee some of this region’s best young football talent at the roadshow.

Junior players will be looking to impress with two UK tours, valued at $6000 each, up for grabs.
