PEGGY Stevenson, of Bexley, is almost 90 but she is not letting age stop her from making a splash.

She is among thousands of Australians expected to take part in the YMCA Swimathon this Sunday, March 3.
The swimathon raises money for the YMCA, which provides programs focused on family, healthy living, developing young people and helping those less fortunate.
Mrs Stevenson is aiming to swim 40 laps at Bexley Swimming Pool & Fitness Centre and has set a modest fund-raising target of $100.
“I know first-hand how important swimming is to stay fit and healthy but it is also a vital life-saving skill that sadly many people in our communities never get a chance to learn,” Mrs Stevenson said.
