Sydney Seafood School at Sydney Fish Market has released its schedule for the year and it is bursting with exciting classes for the keen home cook.

On March 3, participants can learn how to perfectly barbecue fish, shellfish and squid, and on Saturday, March 9, the evening class is all about Spain.

Learn how to make several tapas dishes, paella and a seafood main course as you enjoy a glass of wine.

Peter Kuruvita, owner of Flying Fish, will share the secrets of his Sri Lankan dishes on Monday, March 4, from 6.30pm.

Quick’n’Delicious on Thursday, March 14, will show you how to make three tasty fast seafood meals.

New to Sydney Seafood School this year is Foodie Friends Fridays where you can strike up a rapport with fellow food lovers as you learn new recipes.

Held on the first Friday night of each month, the classes are designed to help food aficionados develop friendships with like-minded people. A new dish will be taught each month, and foodies will have a chance to chat as they enjoy the fruits of their labour.
