HURSTVILLE city has dug deep into its past in Revealed! Treasures from the Hurstville City Library Museum and Gallery Collections now on display at the museum and gallery.

The exhibition focuses on unusual items and the personal stories which they tell about individuals, the greater St George region, and the culture and fun of collecting.

There are more than 50 items going on display, such as artefacts, oddities and treasures long hidden within historical Hurstville collections.

Apart from putting a positive spin on collecting, the exhibition encourages people to start their own collections of items that have personal or historical significance.

The exhibition ends on April 14.
