Features of the revamp:

Design changes between 2009 and 2011:
-A proposed pavilion in the master plan has been replaced with a public toilet and bus shelter which have already been delivered.
-The civic hub building has been moved slightly to the east to better connect with Moore Street.
-The commercial area to the east is now a ‘pocket park’ incorporating public lawn and connection to a rooftop garden.
-Incorporation of the playground, barbecue facilities and linear park into the previously shown public open space area.
-The skate park and active space area is now part of a youth precinct which is designed to include space for rollerblading, basketball, events, seating, art and grassed areas.
-Public parking in the east has been moved further east, allowing more space for the playground, linear park and youth precinct.
-A proposed footbridge from the civic plaza to the train station has been removed.
