Hospitality.Est, described as the ultimate foodies destination, is a combined restaurant and coffee shop, a cooking school for ages six and over, and a retail store selling fine foods and kitchenware.
For the magic night, well-known Sydney magician, Liam Power, confounded guests with his sleight of hand tricks and the ability to read minds!
The March 6 menu has been planned by executive chef Garth Halliburton — duck salad with roasted beets, beans, toasted walnuts, Persian fetta and pomegranate dressing; garlic and rosemary seared lamb with minted pea risotto; eye fillet with carrot puree, truss tomatoes, broccolini and red wine glaze; king fish with borlotti beans, pea and speck with salsa verde and sauteed kipfler potato.
Dessert choices are sticky date souffle with butterscotch sauce and toffee ice cream, and tiramisu with almond biscotti.
“Liam was fantastic,” says Hospitality.Est’s co-owner Aaron Crossin. “He is a master magician who had the guests amazed!”
