IT was back in 2006 that the former apprentices of the Lithgow Small Arms Factory (SAF) from 1963 got together for a reunion.
Over six years have since passed and the ‘boys’ are about to get together for another reunion.
The big day will be held on Saturday at the Lithgow Zig Zag Motel starting at 4pm with a meal being served around 6pm.
It is not too late to go and persons wishing further information on the night can contact Ron Martin on 6351 2574.
There will be plenty of stories swapped about the good old days when the SAF boasted more than 100 apprentices each year.
“The ranks are getting thinner each year,” organiser Ron Martin said.
“So we thought it was time to hold another reunion and hopefully it will be again well attended.”
